Who is Jaqueline Bremmer?

Hey, I’m Jaqueline!

I am a photographer and storyteller based in the heart of Upper Austria. For years, I have been chasing the light that others walk past, freezing the fleeting moments that define the soul of a place.

When I am not behind the camera, I am usually diving into the quiet corners of philosophy, practicing mindfulness, or getting lost in a book. I am equally devoted to a strong cup of coffee and a thoughtful debate, finding that the best stories are often uncovered over a slow tea or a long walk.

My creativity is grounded in the simple, real things, the quiet company of a dog, the rhythm of a well-told story, and the search for authentic connection in a fast-moving world.

my philosophy

I am a quiet person visiting loud places to find the peace within.

I don’t travel to see sights, and I don’t want to be a tourist. I want to experience life in a place, like a local with enough time to truly appreciate it.

I want to eat where the locals eat, not at the trendy, overpriced spot that makes the "perfect" photo. To me, the identity of a city isn’t found at the top of the Empire State Building, it’s seeing it from the corner deli while waiting for a sandwich.

I walk, I crisscross, and I observe. I look for how people actually live, the plants in a tiny front yard, the decorated doors, the architecture that tells the story of time, from the majestic to the overly practical. I’m the person who catches the dog looking out of a window in a random side street because I’m looking for the soul of the neighborhood, not the postcard view.

To me, a hotel isn't just a room, it’s where you are living for that moment. I need to feel well, to relax, and, honestly, I need a socket next to the bed. I capture the places that offer that sanctuary, the perfect nature spot in an urban environment or the independent bookstore where you can read a few pages of a new souvenir.

Why work with me?

I apply this "outsider’s curiosity" to destinations, hotels, and tourism brands. I don't follow the crowds, I uncover the authentic, quiet moments that make a traveler feel at home in a world different from their own.

I don't just show a place, I make people feel what it’s like to live there.
