City Portraits: Old Town Alexandria, Virginia

There is a timelessness to Old Town Alexandria. From the sun-dappled brick sidewalks and colonial-style townhouses to the hidden cobblestone alleys, this historic city offers a unique blend of heritage and charm.

As a travel and lifestyle photographer, my portrait of Alexandria focuses on the architectural details and atmospheric moods that define the East Coast aesthetic. Whether it's the vibrant autumn decorations along King Street or the quiet, ivy-covered facades of historic homes, I seek to capture the "soul of place" that makes Alexandria a bucket-list destination for mindful travelers.

An International Perspective: East Coast Charm

While much of my work is rooted in the landscapes of Europe, my time in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, allowed me to explore the unique East Coast charm of the United States.

Capturing the colonial architecture and the historic, tree-lined character of King Street was an exercise in finding the "Old World" within the new. These city portraits serve as a testament to my work as an international photographer, dedicated to documenting the heritage and atmosphere of historic places regardless of borders.

Whether in the heart of the Alps or the brick-paved streets of the USA, my lens remains focused on the stillness and story of the world around us.
